What is CES?
CES, or the Consumer Electronics Show, started in 1967 by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) as a trade show to present the latest innovations in the industry. From humble beginnings, showcasing pocket radios and VCRs, CES has become arguably the most important and influential tech event in the world. Nowadays, CES is held annually in Las Vegas and features the latest products from the largest names in tech including, of course, Asus. This year, CES 2023 anticipates over 3000 exhibitors from 173 unique countries to represent a variety of different sectors including artificial intelligence, health, entertainment, robotics and much more. Asus Innovations at CES 2023
CES 2023 kicks off January 5th and lasts until January 8th, 2023 so we can only speculate what Asus will unveil, but the Taiwanese tech giant has given us some clues to what fans can expect this year. The theme of this year’s launch event is “Seeing an Incredible Future” and hints at augmented reality experience. Different media outlets have taken guesses as to what this AR surprise could entail, many believing that there could be a 3D OLED laptop screen involved which is very exciting, especially for creators and artists. As far as gaming, Asus is expected to release new, next-gen TUF and ROG laptops including a potential 18-inch gaming laptop which would be their largest gaming laptop ever. In anticipation of these new releases, Asus announced a ROG virtual launch event that will occur two days prior to CES 2023 called "For Those Who Dare Maxed Out". Asus also indicated other innovations would be presented including new desktops, monitors, routers, peripherals and more. With such little information, it is clear Asus is saving all the big surprises for January, and we are more than ready to find out what’s in store!
