The ROG Strix Arion S500 is a SSD portable external device with dynamic random access memory (DRAM) and connectivity USB-C® 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity for extremely fast file transfers, up to 1,050 MB/s.
Constructed of aluminum alloy, this sleek, portable drive includes thermal protection for efficient heat dissipation, a 256-bit AES encryption and data protection, software for easy drive management ROG SSD Dashboard for easy drive management and exclusive lighting to give a unified look to all Asus Aura Sync to give a unified look to any gaming setup.
With the software NTI Backup Now EZ software, the ROG Strix Arion S500 is the ideal solution for performance and mobile storage.
The ROG Strix Arion S500 is up to 12 times faster* than typical external HDD. Its SSD High Performance Phison can achieve transfer speeds of up to 1050 MB/s. The SSD with a DRAM memory and a large SLC cache maximizes data performance and helps extend the life of SSD. At this speed, a file of 100 GB file can be transferred in just two minutes.
